The Garmin GTR 225 is one of the latest additions to Garmin’s extensive
range of avionics products. This powerful VHF Comm is available
in 3 versions to fit your needs. Two of these models are available
with 25 kHz frequency channel spacing and 8.33 kHz channel spacing.
It's also available with either 10 W or 16 W of transmitter output,
letting you find the right balance of power and price. All 3 versions
include a 2-place intercom that’s ideal for 2-seat aircraft; no
additional hardware is required to communicate with your passenger.
Plus, remote frequency flip-flop capability can help in demanding
operating environments like helicopters, letting pilots keep their
hands on the controls.

Garmin have also produced the GNC255 which in addition to the
features of a GTR225 also contains an internal VOR/LOC converter
and a 40 channel glidescope receiver. The GNC255 is available in
2 versions to fit your needs. Each version comes with 25 kHz
frequency channel spacing and 8.33 kHz channel spacing to meet
the impending Single European Sky mandate that all aircraft in
Europe will need to operate with by 2018. The GNC 255 is
available with either 10 W or 16 W of transmitter output.

Avidyne’s leadership in easy-to-use avionics takes the next step
forward with the introduction of the IFD-Series FMS/GPS/NAV/COMs.
As the newest members of Avidyne’s integrated flight display family,
the IFD540 & IFD440 provide the same powerful navigation, communication,
and multi-function display capability as found in the award-winning
Entegra Release 9 systems in a touch screen, panel-mounted avionics
form-factor.
The IFD540 & IFD440 are designed as plug & play replacements for the popular GNS530 & GNS430 navigators respectively, but with bigger glass, a much larger screen area, and a much easier to use hybrid touch screen interface. And because they're the same physical size, they use the same tray & antennas, it can be installed with no wiring changes. The IFD540 & IFD440 make it an incredibly easy and affordable retrofit for general aviation aircraft.

The Trig TY91 & TY92 takes up minimal space and weight. The
innovative use of a control head and separate radio hardware unit
provides more installation options, especially when space is at
a premium.
The Trig TY92 has a higher power output of 16 watts compared to the TY91 which has an output of 6watts. The TY92 is suitable for longer range transmission and for aircraft that have a 28 volt power supply.
The control head can be conveniently mounted in a full 57mm round hole or even smaller compact mount. Fitting is straightforward, and once installed
the depth of the radio control head is only 74mm. In practice this means that the Trig TY91 and TY92 control head can be located in an aircraft instrument panel where a ‘single box’ radio will simply not fit.
Light sport, ultra light, glider and balloon pilots will fit the Trig TY91 radio, this lower powered 6 watt model is ideal for the majority of GA users.
